Introduce of the light:

PAR refers to parabolic aluminized reflector lights. Before PAR LED lights became popular,

PAR lights (also called PAR cans or PAR lamps) were mainly used for theatre productions.

The reason that they are so useful for theatre is because the PAR lamps are designed with a lens and a reflector.

This makes them very useful for providing large amounts of flat light to a scene.PAR LED lamps use this same design but, instead of halogen bulbs, use energy-efficient light emitting diodes. All PAR LED lights will be listed with a number after them, such as PAR LED 20.

The number refers to the diameter of the base. To calculate the diameter, you should divide the number by 8.
